The bicycle is kitted with the ever reliable Shimano Exage 500 groupset. It has 7x2 indexed (gears that "click") drivetrain with Shimano Biopace oval cranks. The dual pivot brakes and SLR brake levers provide good stopping power and the original Shimano Exage hubs spin smoothly.

About Concorde
Concorde was a Dutch bicycle brand which enjoyed popularity in the 1980s and 1990s as the sponsor of the dominant PDM team which won the World Championship in 1990. Although equipped and painted in the Netherlands, Concorde bought frames produced in Italy including from renowned frame builders such as Ciocc and Billato using Columbus steel.
